I don’t know of any grants or scholarships, but there are a few loans that could help. I’m an employee of Campus Door (www.campusdoor.com) and they offer two different types of loans which are both CREDIT BASED. So you have to have a decent amount of established credit, even with a cosigner right now. That may change as the credit market improves. The School Certified loan has an option to take out an incidental portion. This may be perfect for your situation! The incidental loan is an added amount that would come to you. You do have to borrow some to go to the school in order to get it though. If you borrow $10,000 to go to the school, you can take out up to $3,000 to come right to you as a paper check. If you don’t need money to go to the school, you can try for the Direct Advantage loan where all the money goes right to you. (Up to the full cost of attendance for you college). Only glitch is that with the Direct Advantage, they will check to see if your cost of attendance has already been met. That could be detrimental to your application…. just some thoughts.

I also think you will have to apply for a student loan. It will give you extra money that you can use for living expenses. Be careful though and don’t overborrow! Check around for the best rates and repayment options.
