If it has nothing to do with illegal drugs, you’re eligible for the FAFSA. If it is related to drugs, you should complete the Drug Conviction Worksheet to determine if you are eligible.
The FAFSA is the Federal Application For Student Aid. It is what you fill out to get loans and grants from the federal government for school.

If you’re looking to get a grant, loan, monies for something other than school, I recommend going to your local library and asking the librarian to show you books about grant writing and how to find “free money.” Grants are extremely competitive, so don’t feel discouraged if you apply for several and are denied.

If you are open to loans, many private bank loans are based on credit history, so if you have great credit getting a loan will not be a problem.

    Good luck
